“babar” stools by Simon Pengelly for Arper and white lacquered aluminum pendant lights inspired
by spinning tops inject flashes of white into the kitchen (above) and mimic the curved silhouette of
the island. In the dining room (top), Hall chose a 1960s Lightolier brass sputnik chandelier. She
painted the frames of the large windows black, making them seem to fade into the wall.
by moving the back door 6 feet out, architect Bill
Hubner made a passageway (below) that links the
living room to the newly expanded kitchen and dining
spaces. Interior designer Annie Hall designed the
mahogany console table with white drawers to echo
the white sconces on either side of a vintage mirror.
