just about all the seating in the great room takes advantage of
the expansive view over rooftops and out to Boston Harbor.
Pillows in gray and orange (the wife’s favorite color) make the
sofa by B&B Italia more comfortable, while circa 1880–1900
photos from Bethlehem Steel (manufacturer of steam turbines
and ships) grace the brick wall. The couple commissioned the
Ben Mack coffee table in the 1980s. Exposing the timbered
ceiling, original to the 1850s building, added drama and warmth.
