panels draped over wood blinds cover the
stained-glass windows and hide the exposed
plumbing pipes in the alcove.
“We found our color inspiration in a
beautiful silk and linen fabric that’s like
clouds or watercolor,” Kate says of the cream
and blue abstract print that covers the two
armchairs. The klismos chairs have mineral-
blue seats, and a small chinoiserie table holds
a collection of rich blue Canton ceramics. A
small slipper chair and a few sofa pillows pro-
vide a peridot-green pop of color.
