raspberry sparklers are served in cut-crystal champagne glasses. Reuben Reynolds (at right, below) and Bill Casey stand with their bulldog, Gertie, on the steps of their South End town house. Guests gather with their hosts in the rear parlor (facing page), where carved angels hang in the tall windows.
there is more than one rhythm to the lives reuben m. reynolds iii and
bill casey lead. Literally. Reynolds is music director of the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus
and Casey teaches music theater at The Boston Conservatory, so their lives revolve
around music. During the holiday season, that means a full schedule of concerts and
shows. But the couple always seems to make time to entertain, be it an after-party for
the chorus or cast or a fund-raiser for their organizations. Their dinner parties, which
they often offer for bid at benefit auctions, are legendary; their home, an 1876 town
house in Boston’s South End, the perfect setting.
